Funk Volume may be no more, but Dizzy Wright hasn’t let the folding of his former label phase him. In fact, the implosion might have been the best thing to happen to him and his career — as he’s already released The 702 EP, teamed up with Demrick for their Blaze With Us mixtape, kept touring, and even launched his own label: Still Movin.

Over the years, the roster that consists of Dizzy, Demrick, Euroz and MLB’s Reezy have all been a victim of something during their careers — from shady deals to broken promises. But that’s where the crew draws their strength. They’ve been f*cked over, left for dead, dissed and forgotten… but, in the end, they are still here.
To help re-introduce themselves, Dizzy Wright, Reezy, Demrick and Euroz are back at it with the first episode of their Suite Sixteen Series — which finds each emcee delivering a verse during a one-shot take (by Jesse Ray Diamond), while venturing through the inside one of the city’s wonderful suites.
