Rhode Island rapper and DopeHouse favorite Khary unleashed his debut project, intern aquarium, last year, and looks to get 2017 started in similar fashion with Tidal Graves — a joint project with frequent collaborator Lege Kale.

He offered the first song from the project today with “Stronger,” which Lege Kale described as the two, who’ve worked often before, joining up “on some Gotenks shit” – a reference to DragonBall Z.

“‘Stronger’ was the first song that we created for Tidal Graves, and it’s probably the reason we even decided to make the project,” Khary told The FADER, who premiered the song. “It’s a lot different than my previous music (sound wise) but it’s still true to my narrative so it fits in, in its own way.”

The warbling single has bass flowing from ear to ear as Khary sings about trust helping grow a relationship stronger (in theory, at least).
