While out promoting John Wick: Chapter 2 in which he portrays Cassian, one of the deadliest assassins Wick has faced, Common was invited to The Tonight Show to participate in one of Fallon’s many fun-packed games.
We already know Common is one of the most gifted freestylers in the industry, so during a game of Wheel of Freestyle, the Chicago legend was put to the test with a list of randomly-generated words and given the task of crafting a witty freestyle (and as The Fader points out, the way he rhymes “snowplow” is everything).
Not to be outdone, Tariq Trotter, aka Black Thought also showed and proved why he’s one of the few sole survivors of the school of off-the-dome emcees.
