In my last year-and-a-half of writing about Russ — nearly weekly — I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone feature on one of his songs. This week, the Atlanta native switches up a smidgen with his new cut, “Take It All In” featuring Cali rapper Rexx Life Raj.
“Foot-long joint, case full of gin, every night we black out just to take it all in,” Russ hums on the chorus. It’s both exciting and somewhat somber, because Russ now has the time, money and reason to party every night now that he’s successful, but he’s also blacking out every night to relieve the stresses that now come with success.
