J. Cole got himself another spitter.

After the lackluster NBA All-Star Game came to an end, Dreamville announced a new signing: Atlanta’s J.I.D.

Bruuh, hell yeah! We’ve been supporting the ATLien for a minute now (even nominating him for Verse of the Month in January), so it’s super dope to see his hard work pay off and his talent recognized by someone with a legit platform.

Fresh off appearing alongside J. Cole and Bas (and EarthGang) on “Can’t Call It,” the Spillage Village emcee now belongs to the Dreamville squad and will be dropping his official debut album, The Never Story, later this year.

To coincide with the announcement, Dreamville released a short clip that finds J.I.D explaining his relationship with his Pontiac. Then at the 1:40 mark, Cole hops in the driver seat and they hit the road bumping some of that new new.
