Dropping multiple new albums within a calendar year is the new Black.
Future is already poised to land atop the Billboard 200, with his eponymous fifth studio album predicted to debut at No. 1 in its first week. Now, that was just the warm up.
After murmurs that he would release another project this week emerged this morning, Future confirmed the news with a couple Instagram posts—revealing the artwork and idea behind his next album, HNDRXX.
“The album I always wanted to make,” Future said. “Timing is everything.”
According to HDD, the album “is more Rhythmic-leaning and radio-friendly.” But we’ll just have to wait until Friday (2/24) to find out. Perhaps “My Peak,” with Chance The Rapper, will land on it.
UPDATE: The tracklist has been unveiled with Rihanna and The Weeknd making appearances.
