Here’s a treat for all fans of De La Soul.
Fresh from receiving a GRAMMY nomination for their ninth album, and the Anonymous Nobody, the trio have now released the instrumentals from the project.
The album’s creation took several years. Fully crowdfunded, De La Soul returned to their sample-based roots and recorded over 300 hours of live music, incorporating elements of soul, funk, reggae and even disco and bossa nova. Primarily produced by De La Soul and Dave West (with additional production from Pete Rock).
