Those that tuned into Beats 1 Radio this morning (Feb. 24th) may have heard a new voice pump through the airwaves: Frank Ocean.
The reclusive singer, who recently joined Calvin Harris and (2/3 of the) Migos on absolutely groovy “Slide,” debuted blonded RADIO on the Apple network, playing a myriad of songs from Prince, Celine DIon, Kodak Black, NAO and others, and was joined by some pretty hefty company on its inaugural episode: JAY Z.
The two spoke on music streaming, their thoughts on rap culture, and more. “Back in the day it used to be specific hip-hop clubs, now every club is a hip-hop club,” Jay said.
