Having written for the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Jason Derulo and Jeremih, Los Angeles-based duo THEY. step into their own spotlight with the release of their debut album Nü Religion: Hyena.
A 14-track effort, the pair expand on their self-described “grunge-n-b” sound throughout. “Nü Religion was not only just the name of our first EP but it was kinda like a belief system that we have,” member Drew Love says on the LP. “Really we’re just about empowering people to really make a difference in this world, to really try new things, to really break the mold from what other people are doing.”
