So, I had no idea Page Kennedy — a guy I knew from Vine and Blue Mountain State — was a rapper. But he’s come for Lil Yachty, made a song with Royce 5’9″, King Los and Denuan Porter (“Testing Me“) and now made a song with Marsha Ambrosius, so he’s settling into the rapper role nicely.
His latest, “Torn Pages,” is a six-minute opus digging into his life’s story from growing up in the streets of Detroit to his love life once he garnered a bit of fame. Ambrosius, naturally, soulfully handles the hook, which reflects Kennedy’s desire to keep moving forward.
