Having settled in nicely since relocating from Brooklyn to the city of Miami, aka “a sunny place for shady people,” Brenton continues to surf on the same wave that kept him afloat throughout the entire year of 2016, having dropped a new quickstrike freestyle for 52 weeks straight as part of his #9TeaseTuesdays series which culminated with the appropriately titled “The Wrap” (download them all here).
After paying homage to the 90s era which groomed him as an artist, Brenton is now set on releasing all new, original content — returning with “Not For Long” which proves that whether he’s finessing a Black Moon classic or a more trap-focused instrumental, it’s ultimately the words behind the song that are most important.
