Friday marked a bittersweet day with the release of Logan, the final film in the Wolverine franchise; ultimately bringing Hugh Jackman’s 17-year-long tenure portraying Logan Howlett to a close.
Logan has so far received rave reviews from critics and fans alike, and as an added bonus, moviegoers were treated to a special teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel to Deadpool which has been playing in front of Logan in the United States.
Watch the official teaser for Deadpool 2 — which is being helmed by John Wick director David Leitch — below, featuring easter eggs and meta references to Firefly, Superman, The Old Man and the Sea, a legendary comic book creator and Cable’s eventual appearance in the sequel (“Nathan Summers coming soon”) along with Wade Wilson’s signature, 4th wall-breaking irreverent humor.
