Picking up like he never lost a step, long-time DopeHouse resident Hezekiah now serves as one of the vocalists for local Philadelphian band Johnny Popcorn.
The quintet is comprised of Johnny and Jani Coral on vocals, producer Lloyd Alexander on guitar, bassist Freshie and Clayton Crothers sitting behind the drums, with their sound described as a fusion of soul, rock and Hip-Hop.
Last year, the group released their album Totem Pole, led by the single “Go Go Go,” followed by “Emancipation” and “Follow Through.”
After allowing some breathing room for the album to be properly digested, Johnny Popcorn shot a pair of live performance visuals for the aforementioned singles while on location at Tiny Room for Elephants, “a Philadelphia based arts and music festival.”
