Despite his career nearly ending alongside his life in 2000, 50 Cent got his life back on track to become one of the most successful rappers of that decade. He is now putting together some of his most popular songs into one compilation, Best Of 50 Cent.
Scheduled to drop March 31st, the compilation spans throughout many of 50’s Shady/Aftermath works: Get Rich or Die Tryin’, The Massacre, Curtis and Before I Self Destruct, as well as the soundtrack for his 2005 film Get Rich or Die Tryin’.

Don’t get me wrong, these are understandable — if not “underhand softball pitch to a child” — selections, but what about the absolute banger “Heat?” The incendiary Ja Rule diss, “Back Down?” No “Get in My Car,” but “Ayo Technology?” Man, expect a DopeHouse take on his greatest hits coming sooner than later.
