French duo HER acknowledge the difficulties of trying to progress in life and do their best to uplift on their new song, “SWIM.”
“We’re living in troubled times marked by renewed violence, social regression and the rise of extremism,” the band said in a press statement. “As artists, we wanted to put across a positive message, encouraging people to think differently and accept their own and others’ uniqueness.”
The song features cliché but inspirational quips like “swim against the flow” and “work against the tide,” all in a effort to ease and empower a troubled and distressed mind.
