When DJ Khaled announced his new album, Grateful, we learned that his newborn baby would executively produce it. I mean, sure, slap his name on it and call it a day, because there is nothing more pure than Khaled’s love for his son. But it turns out it doesn’t quite end there.
Khaled dropped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night to talk about Grateful and how, yes, his son is executively producing the album, royalties and all. Khaled went through the process of how he gets his sons approval (I’d love to experience a studio session of this happening) to how when his son throws up while he’s playing a song — like “SHINING” — it’s actually a “super blessing.”
