By now, everybody it seems has listened to Drake‘s new playlist album at least once. For those that haven’t, they are definitely in the minority.

Spotify is reporting that the musician has broke records once again, with More Life notching the best first-day streams for an album in the platform’s history. At 61,302,082 streams, it easily surpassed the previous record holder Ed Sheeran, whose album ÷ (Divide) notched 56,727,861 streams just two weeks prior. Sheeran also had his proverbial boots smoked for the best one-day streams record, as More Life tallied 76,355,041 streams on March 19th, its first full day out (compared to Sheeran’s 68,695,172).

UPDATE: The Verge is reporting that the album has broken Apple Music records, garnering 89.9 million streams on the platform in 24 hours.

Suffice to say, it’s a given that Drake will top the Billboard charts in its first week (and likely many more after), and More Life to be blasted ad nauseam all year round.
