Want to feel slightly old? March 23rd marked the 13th anniversary of (one of) Usher‘s seminal albums, Confessions. Some people prefer its predecessor, 8701, while others consider Confessions to be his magnum opus.
Either way, BJ The Chicago Kid pays homage to Ursher’s fourth album with a quickstrike EP of cover songs (similar to his tribute to D’Angelo in 2016). Reimagining “Can U Handle It?,” “Simple Things” and the album’s title track, the EP can be heard below.
