It’s been a long time coming, but the late Tupac Shakur will finally be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 7th, joining the ranks of iconic artists which include Al Green, B.B. King, the late Chuck Berry, Bob Marley, Run-D.M.C. and N.W.A.

Early this morning, T.M.Z. broke the news that longtime collaborator and friend Snoop Dogg has been hand-selected to induct Pac into the Hall of Fame, also reporting that “Dr. Dre’s been asked to join the ceremony as well,” with their sources revealing that Dre is “close to signing on” and that “the performance will feature a mix of at least 3 songs performed by Snoop, Dre and company … and “California Love” is definitely on the setlist.”

If things transpire as reported, the performance would mark a Death Row reunion of sorts, just not as unsettling and creepy as their 2012 “reunion” featuring hologram 2Pac.
