Farma Wesley & Curtis Tull – “P.S.A.” (Video)

DMV Hip-Hop collective 7Serengeti—comprised of members Kevin Sinatra, Farma Wesley, OG Dutchy, Curtis Tull, Jetty Shad, East Coast Militia and 6ix Shoota—are suiting up for a war against oppression and those who are hellbent on extinguishing the flame of enlightenment as they prepare for the release of their 6ix Tape Vol 1 project.

Last week, Kevin Sinatra and Farma Wesley unveiled the project’s first visual, “Sleep Paralysis,” a rich, woven tapestry filled with hidden jewels and parables relating to the struggles faced daily by black men and women.

While there’s no official release date for the 6ix Tape Vol 1, the Gods are determined to draw attention to the very people they’re fighting for: the disaffected and disenfranchised, returning weeks later with a visual for track number two, “P.S.A.”

This time, Farma Wesley and the group’s in-house producer Curtis Tull step up to the dais to deliver a discourse on the Art of War: “Understand it’s 7Serengeti // If you saw the war then I hope that you’re ready” which is an apparent allusion to chapter one of Sun Tzu’s legendary military strategy text, which reads:

If your enemy is secure at all points, be prepared for him. If he is in superior strength, evade him. If your opponent is temperamental, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected.
