Logic Announces Third Album Title, Release Date

blame it on Meka March 29, 2017

Following a two-year break in between albums (in which he dropped a mixtape, Bobby Tarantino), Logic will return in 2017 with his third studio album.

No longer calling it AfricAryaN after causing a minor hubbub about its meaning, the rapper has instead changed the title to Everybody. Logic also ran a contest where one fan would have their likeness painted on the album cover, revealing the winner — Josh — shortly before unveiling a teaser revealing the album art.

Everybody is slated to be released on May 5th, via Def Jam/Visionary Music Group. A documentary will accompany the album, chronicling its creation. The album artwork, painted by Sam Spratt‏ “for about 6 months,” can be seen below.

UPDATE: Let’s just say, Freddie Gibbs isn’t too pleased with the similarities to the artwork and (especially) the trailer for his upcoming album, You Only Live 2wice.
