lojii and Swarvy’s DUE RENT album is dropping this week, but keeping their single-a-week pace alive, the duo shares one final single from the album, “northern organix.”

The singles so far have dove into lojii’s experiences of trying to make ends meet as a black man in America, and while “northern organix” follows that trend, it’s the penultimate song on the album and leaves the project ending on a somewhat positive note. “The murder rate rising, and so am I. Stay higher than the tides, but I’m lofi,” he raps, following with hope: “Mama know I try, and I know she cries sometimes, but we gon’ be alright, the sun gon’ shine.”
