While out in New York promoting his new album, Olive Branch, Locksmith stopped by Shade 45 to kick it with DJ Kay Slay on StreetSweeper Radio.

During his time on air, the Bay Area lyricist had to get some rhymes off. So, with eight minutes on the clock, he proceeded to give Biggie’s “Who Shot Ya?” that work for four, before taking Mobb Deep’s “Quiet Storm” for a ride during the second half.

Never sign to a rapper unless you vibe with his pen,
9 out of 10, he’ll never let you shine brighter than him

On top of the bars, Lock also provided Kung Fu Vampire with a straight silly guest verse on his “Fire” single that also features Ubi of CES Cru. Check it out below and be sure to catch Lock on tour with KFV.
