Things haven’t fared too well for Bobby Shmurda since his 2014 incarceration for a litany of charges.

After being convicted on one count of conspiracy in the second degree, three counts of conspiracy in the fourth degree, one count of reckless endangerment, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree and one count of criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree, Bobby (née Ackquille Jean Pollard) faced anywhere from eight to 25 years in prison. However, he accepted a plea deal in 2016 and received seven years (with credit for 2 years already served). As it turns out, Bobby took the deal so that his friend, Rowdy Rebel, could get less.

Now, Bobby is on the receiving end of another sentence.

According to NBC New York, Shmurda got hit with one-third to four years in prison today (April 7th), stemming from a contraband case in which his girlfriend smuggled a homemade knife to him during a 2015 visit to Rikers Island. There is a bit of a silver lining in this sentence, however: it will run concurrent with the seven years he’s currently serving in the prior conviction.

“Pollard has now resolved all of his legal matters and looks forward to getting back with his career,” his attorney told reporters after sentencing Friday.

Alongside Bobby and Rebel two other members of Shmurda’s GS9 crew, Rasha and A-Rod, had been sentenced to a combined 151 years in prison.
