Someone sardonically tweeted that LeBron James is quickly becoming the most influential music journalist of our time, but there may be some truth to that statement.
In 2016, and following his GRAMMYs performance, Bron-Bron — with a simple tweet — convinced TDE’s head honcho Top Dawg to release what would eventually be Kendrick Lamar‘s untitled. unmastered. Now, LeBron is in possession of the most anticipated hip hop album of April, Corn Row Kenny’s DAMN.
Taking to his Instagram Story LeBron recorded himself maniacally bobbing his head to the entire album, instantly making his email account the most sought-after address for hackers allowing fans brief insight into the project. One enterprising Twitter user, Tyler Conway of Bleacher Report, was able to rip the video footage, and everything can be seen below.
DAMN. formally arrives tonight (April 14th).
