Los Angeles-based Hip-Hop duo Zoolay (Don Ron and Illz One) unleashed their last album, Undeniable in August of 2016. The 16-track project is filled with heavy boom-bap and head-nod-inducing, shuffling drums, courtesy of producer Dibia$e and other contributors, while pulling in features from the likes of DJ Steady P, LostPoet, and Blu—the latter who was featured on the single “Bags Packed.”
Nearing the LP’s one year mark since its release, Zoolay linked up with director Brian Lynch for an animated clip for their “Bars & Noble” remix featuring TrekLife, The Visionaries’ LMNO, Blame One and Roc C.
