Since its launch in May of last year, we’ve highlighted pretty much every artist who’s graced Funk Flex with a freestyle on Hot97. But, to be honest, after Mysonne did what he did, I lost interest in the series. I mean, who could outdo that type of performance?
Anyways, Harlem’s Vado popped up on the 55th installment with some gritty rhymes over Mobb Deep’s “Quiet Storm.” And, in an attempt to catch up on the series, I’ve included that as well as some of the recent sessions — including Casanova, T-Rex, Arsonal and others.
