Two days ago, Bob Marley’s youngest son, Damian Marley announced that his long-awaited and heavily delayed fourth studio album, Stony Hill will finally arrive on July 21st, marking his first full-length LP in twelve years since 2005’s Welcome to Jamrock.

The day before announcing the album’s release date, Jr. Gong held an AMA on reddit, answering fans’ burning questions and revealing that although there’s “nothing on the books at the moment” regarding new collaborations with Nas, the two revered artists have “always spoken about doing more stuff together.”

Elsewhere in the AMA, Damian shared a favorite stand-out Jamaican proverb: “It’s better to own a 5% of a watermelon then [sic] 100% of a grape,” and also teased some of the guests that can be expected on the album: his brother Stephen Marley and Bounty Killer’s son, Major Myjah.

To give fans a taste of what to expect, Damian released a brand new track dubbed “Medication,” featuring Stephen Marley, which, as one could surmise, is a song praising the healing properties of our favorite natural plant: marijuana.

Head to a higher plane of consciousness and press play on “Medication” below.
