It seems like 2017 is the Year of Frank Ocean Singles, which is nice given there was nearly four years of silence between Channel Orange and his last two albums, Endless and Blonde.
Just a couple days after debuting a new song, “Lens,” with a corresponding remix with Travi$ Scott on the fourth Blonded Radio show on Beats 1, Frank doubles down two days later on another episode of Blonded Radio.
Having no care for when the radio show airs, the fifth episode ran Monday morning when most people were sleeping or heading to work. During the show, he played a new version of his song “Slide On Me” with Young Thug. The song originally landed on Endless.
This is the fifth single with Frank this year following “Channel,” “Biking” with JAY Z and Tyler, the Creator, “Lens” and “Slide” with Calvin Harris.
