Earlier this year, Gensu Dean took part in Mass Appeal’s ongoing Rhythm Roulette series where they blindfold producers, have them choose three random records and ultimately craft a banger from what was drawn.
Normally, the beats created during the series are left as that — beats. But Gensu’s creation was too damn fresh to just let sit, so Stik Figa and Chuuwee came through to compete the cypher.
Officially dubbed “Child’s Play,” the song appears as a bonus track on Stik Figa’s Central Standard Time album, and finds him and Chuuwee answering the call with some no non-sense street gospel over Dean’s lively production.
