In the midst of Big Sean releasing his I Decided album, another incredibly talented Detroit artist delivered his debut album, which for some, may have flown under the radar: Ty Farris’ Room 39.
The 12-track project, produced entirely by Trox pulled in features from Rapper Big Pooh, Royce 5’9″ and his brother Kid Vishis, Nash and more.
Now, with a brand new EP on the horizon next month, Ty flexes a lyrical exercise with a matching video for “Live From Room 39,” framed through a lone window on the exterior of a “room on the Eastside of Detroit,” which he explains epitomizes the song’s title.
