It’s been three years since Marsha Ambrosius released an album. But, considering everything that’s transpired in that time—getting engaged, giving birth to her first child, and a failed reconciliation with Natalie Stewart (which now sits at “no chance” of new Floetry music)—it’s not hard to understand the delay.

The wait is nearing the end, though, with Marsha preparing to release her long-awaited follow-up to 2014’s Friends & Lovers sometime this summer.

To kick things off, Ms. Ambrosius liberates the first single, “Luh Ya” — an uptempo groove, produced by Harmony Samuels and co-written by Marsha and her fiancé, Dez Billups.

Check it out below, cop “Luh Ya” on iTunes, and be sure to catch Marsha on tour with Eric Benet throughout the month of May.
