Logic Invites ‘Everybody’ To Join Him On Third Album

For a moment, Logic almost lost us.

Following his mixtape Bobby Tarantino, the Maryland rapper planned to call his third studio album AfricAryaN. Suffice to say, that rubbed some people the wrong way.

Eventually, he renamed the follow-up to 2015’s The Incredible True Story to Everybody, which delves into Logic’s experience as a bi-racial person living in America.

Far more ambitious than its predecessor, Logic has, quite literally, invited everybody to join him on the project: Killer Mike, Black Thought, Juicy J, Khalid, Alessia Cara, No I.D., and even Neil deGrasse Tyson. Oh, and there’s also a surprise J. Cole verse tacked on the end of the final track!

Along with a documentary that will accompany the album, the album cover is an Easter egg-filled work of art painted by Sam Spratt‏ “for about 6 months,” and it includes — once again — everybody; no lie, I literally spotted three of my friends in it.

Purchase a copy on iTunes. A stream can be heard below.

Upon listening, one track that is sure to be talked about is “America,” where Logic shares a few thoughts on Kanye West.
