Currently in the middle of his SHiNE Tour, Wale was the special guest of Everyday Struggle, hosted by Joe Budden, Nadeska Alexis and DJ Akademiks. Apparently, Akademiks slighted the rapper on social media, and Wale took him to task for that.
In his trademark deadpan sensibilities, Wale takes down Akademiks a few pegs for attempting to be the physical personification of online trolls, and speaks on J. Cole’s second verse of “False Prophets” and their interactions before and after it released. He also speaks on the first-week sales of his album, and how he’s at a much better place in his life and state of mind regardless of sales.
