A couple months ago, following the success of Atlanta, it was reported Donald Glover had signed an overall production deal with FX, meaning he’d get paid a whole bunch of money to make various shows specifically for the network.

Today, one of the first doses of the new relationship has been revealed: an animated Deadpool series.

Glover will make the show along with his brother, Stephen Glover, who was a writer on Atlanta, too, Variety reports. They’ll be executive producers, writers and showrunners for the series. The show will air on FXX and is expected to air in 2018.

“How much more fun could this be? Deadpool, Donald and FX – the perfect fit for the Merc with the Mouth,” said Marvel rep Marc Loeb, who will be executively producing the show along with Jim Chory. “We’re thrilled that our relationship with FX that started with ‘Legion’ continues with what is sure to be a groundbreaking show in adult animation.”

As Variety points out, Atlanta’s Zazie Beets will star in the upcoming Deadpool 2 movie, which is set to drop sometime in 2018 — like the show.
