Before MadeinTYO blew up to the masses with “Uber Everywhere,” the Atlanta-bred artist spent some time living in Japan (thus the name, pronounced Made In Tokyo). Reminiscing on the days living in the country, MadeinTYO dropped a new beat tape, Kanazawa-Bunko, inspired by train rides in the country.
The project is named after one of the last stops on the train before arriving to Tokyo, TYO said. He noted this project was made “to listen to on the train in Japan” and that the beats were made “years ago.”
