With the much-anticipated fourth season of POWER set to air June 25th, Deadline is reporting that the show is one of the highest-rated premium cable shows out today.
How high is it? Averaging an audience of approximately 8 million, it’s only second to HBO’s massively popular series Game Of Thrones. Thanks to its success, POWER creator and executive producer Courtney Kemp has signed a new overall deal with both Starz and Liongate, the studio that acquired the premium cable channel in 2016. Kemp is now one of a few Black women in that position, most notably Shonda Rhimes at ABC.
