James Blake Covers Frank Ocean’s “Godspeed”

James Blake was one of the few collaborators who worked on multiple songs from Frank Ocean‘s Blonde album. He produced on “Solo” and the song’s reprise, which gave us one of the best rap verses last year thanks to André 3000. He also helped produce “Godspeed” — a soulful hymnal sung to Frank’s younger self — and now Blake has covered the song live in concert.

While closing out his performance at the FORM Arcosanti Festival in Arcosanti, Arizona, Blake performed “Godspeed” with simply a piano. The performance was the first time Blake performed a whole set on just a piano.
