Unofficially, this has become “Flying Lotus Week.”
Things first started during his performance at Seattle’s Upstream Music Fest, where the eclectic talent treated fans to his rendition of Angelo Badalamenti’s Twin Peaks theme. He would then release his first pair of musical offerings this year, “Night Grows Pale” and “Crowned.”
Now, FlyLo has returned with two more tracks, “North Star3” and “You and Your Friends Are Dead.” However, these tracks don’t appear to be new; they seem to be tracks left off of his 2014 album, You’re Dead!
“North Star3” is a collaboration with Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, Thundercat and Brendon Small, while “You and Your Friends Are Dead” is a team-up with Thundercat and Small. Hear them both below.
