Chiddy Bang — once a duo, now just Chiddy after Xaphoon Jones a.k.a. Noah Breakfast left the group — returns with “Been A While,” a song recounting just what the hell the Phily rapper has been up to.
After the duo’s debut album Breakfast and Jones’ departure, Chiddy was all but silent until “Full Speed Ahead,” which was released in February. “I took my family out of deficit. We flying regardless of what the weather is,” he raps on “Been A While,” noting that even though his career hasn’t gone quite as planned, there’s still success to be found.
