This is Flying Lotus Week, and the DopeHouse is here for all of it.
Things first started during his performance at Seattle’s Upstream Music Fest, where the eclectic talent treated fans to his rendition of Angelo Badalamenti’s Twin Peaks theme. He would then release his first pair of musical offerings this year, “Night Grows Pale” and “Crowned.”
FlyLo then released another pair of tracks, “North Star3” and “You and Your Friends Are Dead,” which were tracks left off of his 2014 album You’re Dead!, and featured Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, Thundercat and Brendon Small.
Now, Lotus has released his sixth offering of the week, “LoveTrue Opening.” The song is the opening number for the 2016 film LoveTrue, and also features Atwood-Ferguson. Listen to it below.
