Last night marked the 42nd season finale of Saturday Night Live, a season enhanced by skyrocketing ratings (CNN reported it had its biggest season in 23 years) thanks in part to the return of Alec Baldwin’s Donald Trump, Melissa McCarthy’s Sean Spicer and an endless well of material to ridicule this administration.
While the overall consensus seems to point at a satisfying finale, with host Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson finally joining the Five-Timers Club, things got a little awkward when Katy Perry took to the stage for her performance of “Bon Appétit” with Migos.
