It seems like the only way to consistently get new verses from CyHi The Prynce is by asking him to come on a radio show to rip a freestyle. Just over the last couple months CyHi has laced new verses for Sway in the Morning’s 5 Fingers of Death and Genius.
Today, the trend continues as the Stone Mountain native stopped by the LA Leakers to participate in their freestyle series. And CyHi’s instrumental of choice? Kendrick Lamar’s “HiiiPoWer” produced by J. Cole, which he freestyles over for four minutes.
Though he has his debut album on the way (eventually) led by singles “Legend” and “Nu Africa,” these freestyles are still a welcome and consistent reminder that CyHi is indeed still around.
