Majid Jordan dropped their self-titled album last year, promoted it with a couple videos, then went right back working on another album, it seems.
Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman return today with their first new song since dropping “Free (Us)” in September, “Phases.” It features a groovier and brighter tempo than most previous additions to their small catalog thus far, but it brings an energy at a level I haven’t quite heard from the duo just yet.
UPDATE (5/25): A month after the audio was released, Majid Jordan deliver an official music video.
