Mean Mondays.
For the last 21 weeks, R-Mean has been hitting us with weekly drops as part of his Mean Mondays series. Handling the majority of the tracks himself, he’s been joined by the likes of The Game, Kxng Crooked and Lyric on past releases. And today, he’s celebrating his birthday with another quality collaboration.
Four and a half years after their first collab (2012’s “Talkin’ To You“), R-Mean reconnects with Joe Budden to take turns sharing introspective rhymes about their lives over Pharomazan production.
“I rap about real sh*t,” R-Mean says. “All the hype associated with industry glitz and glamour ceases to move my soul. Hand me a mic and a notepad, I’m good.”
