Last month, Mozzy and Gunplay shocked their fans with an announcement of a joint project called Dreadlocks & Headshots. The same day, they dropped “They Know.”
Like I said when the news broke, I have no clue how the pairing came to be, but sheeeeit, a joint project from these two has gotta be fire. I mean, there’s really no way for it to fail. Both cut from the same cloth, the SacTown native and MMG gunner have made careers out of talking that talk and sharing the street tales that have helped shaped them as men.
Locked in at 12 tracks, the album is said to “take you on a journey of struggle, survival, and ultimately; triumph.” We heard “Out Here Really” last week. And now, the East-meets-West duo have unloaded the other ten tracks with the official release of Dreadlocks & Headshots.
