In his first performance since last year’s PHAROS concert-festival, Childish Gambino packed a whole lot of surprises and announcements into a single, fine point.
During his Governors Ball set, a usually reserved ‘Bino opened up to the crowd, finally revealing the name of his son.
“This song is dedicated to everybody in this crowd, and my young son Legend,” he disclosed before launching into “Baby Boy” off …Awaken, My Love!.

As the evening came to a close, he launched into the fan favorite single “Redbone,” preceded with a meta reference to a running meme on Twitter before thanking the crowd and announcing “I’ll see you for the last Gambino album” and exiting the stage.
