Driven by a penchant to peddle only the finest of Grown Man Rap, Syracuse, New York emcee Tone Atlas returns with another round of appetizers with his Water To Wine EP, following Hors D’oeuvres.
Producer Elemnt holds things down on the soundboards, spread across nine, exquisite boom-bap tracks, which also features a guest appearance from Tek of Smif-N-Wessun fame.
“My goal for this project is to show you who the f*ck I am. The production is monumental, the lyrics and track concepts are cinematic, and this is truly the beginning of a legendary duo in Hip-Hop,” Tone explained in a press statement, explaining that the essence of the golden era bubbling on the surface is there for a reason. “There are fans of Hip-Hop that never left, and a constantly growing fanbase that wants and craves THIS sound, myself included.”
