DJ Khaled & Drake Connect Again On “To The Max”

blame it on Meka June 5, 2017

It seems that every time DJ Khaled and Drake have gotten together, the end result is usually chart-landing success. Excluding “Fed Up,” from Khaled’s 2009 album Victory, all of their songs since nabbed a plaque: 2011’s “I’m On One” (double-Platinum), 2013’s “No New Friends” (Gold) and 2016’s “For Free” (Platinum).

Now, after spending literally 50-11 months waiting for his “vocals to come in” (spawning a meme-worthy catchphrase, and hilariously annoying his wife in the process), Khaled and Drake connect once again on “To The Max,” the third single off Khaled’s upcoming tenth album Grateful (following “Shining” and his very first No. 1 single “I’m The One“). Produced by Khaled and Cool & Dre, the album now has a release date as well: June 23rd.
