Kodak Black Is A Free Man Again

blame it on Patrick Glynn June 5, 2017

Kodak Black has been in and out of jail in Broward County and South Carolina for various charges over the last year. After being released on bond in December from sexual assault charges in South Carolina, Black returned to Florida, where he was eventually sentenced to 364 days in jail for violating probation.

The sentence was rather forgiving, though, as it came with a silver lining: Black would only have to serve a month in jail if he completed a “life skills course” while incarcerated.

Well, exactly a month after the sentencing (May 4), Kodak was released from jail.

Though he hasn’t made any official comment, Kodak was seen on Instagram Live celebrating his release.

Kodak was supposed to be on Future’s Nobody’s Safe tour this summer, but his legal troubles caused him to get booted and replaced with A$AP Ferg. His debut album, Painting Pictures, was released less than a week before his most recent sentencing, so look for Black to return to promoting the album.
